Pandemics, babies and moving… oh my!

The past year and a half has been crazy.

I don’t have to tell you about the craziness that this whole pandemic thing brought on, I’m sure you felt it too. AND if you are in a state like California, like me, you are STILL feeling it! The closures and restrictions have taken our home schooling to a whole new level, with way more HOME then we are used to, and much more antsy kids!

About a month into the shutdowns I found out I was pregnant with baby number 3. This didn’t seem like a big deal at the time, but as the shutdowns continued through the entire year (what happened to that initial 15 days?!) it made things weird. A tired mama and kids who had nowhere to go outside of our property made for some crazy days.

Lucky for us, we are home birthers and planned for having this little one at home just like the others. Everything went well and our little boy was born on New Years Eve. Definitely the best thing to come out of 2020!

Then, because things weren’t crazy enough, we decided to move. Luckily not far from where we were, so it wasn’t too bad, but moving with 3 kids, one who is completely dependent on you, isn’t fun. I don’t recommend it.

Now we are getting settled, figuring out this whole family of 5 thing, and I’m jumping back into this world of sharing and coaching that I put on hold through all the craziness.

Things are going to look a bit different, and I’m excited about it all.
